International Beatle Week 20 - 26 August 2008
As part of Liverpools Capital of Culture celebrations, the usual Beatles/Mathew Street Festival which takes place over August Bank Holiday every year, has been extended to cover an entire week for 2008! This is billed as a truly International Event with bands from over 20 countries and fans from over 40, and is aimed at entertaining general music fans as well as the many Beatles fans. There is something for everyone over the course of the event including live gigs, flea markets, art exhibitions, record fairs, guest speakers, video shows, tours and a Convention.
